為什麼產品直覺會成為稀缺技能#
一旦寫程式變得廉價(Verification as the New Bottleneck),限制就轉移到知道什麼值得做、以及做得好不好——也就是產品品味。Fung 現在所招募的兩種工程師樣貌是「有產品直覺的創意建造者」與「深厚的系統專業」。前者就是由 dogfooding 餵養出來的那種人。這是 Engineer PM Convergence 與 Evals as Product Spec 在組織層級的印證:隨著工具骨架不斷縮小,品味/判斷力才是人類持久的技能。
Fung 的機制:在骨子裡感受它#
她鍛鍊產品直覺的配方:
- Dogfood——尤其對管理者而言,他們在 Claude 出現前往往沒有時間實際使用產品。「你會真正開始在骨子裡感受到你的產品;你會記得自己當初想解決的是什麼問題。」少了它,「你就會根據指標、儀表板或 PowerPoint 來做產品決策。」
- 出貨並迭代。
- 與客戶對話——她的熱情專案是帶著做小生意的朋友(餐廳老闆)上手 Cowork,並看著他們卡關:「看到我們其實有那麼多地方可以做得更好,真的非常謙卑」,尤其是在上手流程上。(這與 Anthropic 的 Claude for Small Business 相連結。)
Mr. Peanut 的故事是那個關於校準品味的軼事:她在 CLI 裡寫了一個節日「雪人」版 Claude;她的設計師說它一點也不像雪人——「你把 Claude 變成了 Mr. Peanut。」人類的產品/設計品味捕捉到了建造者自己看不見的東西——正是模型所欠缺的那種判斷力。
Claude 作為跨職能的補缺者(另一面)#
Dogfooding 揭露你弱在哪裡;Claude 接著在所有角色上填補這些缺口:用 Claude Code 的設計師自己透過 Claude 進行打磨/UX 修正,而不是畫紅線後丟給工程團隊(把迭代迴路收束起來);自認文字囉嗦的工程師 Fung,把 Claude 當成短文案的「內容設計夥伴」。「Claude 正在增強你所有可能不那麼擅長的領域。」Dogfooding 告訴你缺口在哪裡;工具幫你把它補上——但注意到缺口的那份品味仍然屬於人類。
